A respected industry leader, Bob Kennedy, PE, CEM, Director of Energy Services, is charged with delivering comprehensive energy consulting services that reduce energy consumption, lower costs, and improve performance. Prior to joining EYP, Bob managed the East Coast operations for a large performance contractor. There he was responsible for the analysis, design, financing, and construction of over $100M in comprehensive energy upgrades for colleges and universities, hospitals, and government facilities. Bob has been directly involved in installing over 20,000 tons of cooling systems, 500+ variable speed drives, upgrades to over 250,000 light fixtures, and over $15 million in control systems.
During the past 15 years, Bob has had ongoing involvement with several large university campuses in support of their energy and operational efforts. This has included participation on energy committees, regular analysis of proposed conservation measures, consulting on organizational structures and has taught at numerous faculty and student training sessions.
Bob has been published in several energy and planning journals and is a frequent speaker on financing various energy conservation measures methods and strategies.
