DayStar's Co-Founder and President, Dr. John R. Tuttle, has led the Company for six years through its early stages of product development and marketing. He is now focused on moving DayStarto a revenue and earnings-driven public company that can lead the world in high-volume solar cell production. Prior to founding DayStar, Dr. Tuttle held the position of Senior Scientist at the National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL) where he was responsible for technology development relating to thin-film CIGS-based solar cells. His research led to four patent awards, two of which have guided the fabrication of PV devices with world-record efficiencies. Prior to his work at NREL, Dr. Tuttle managed a development laboratory that supported the production of power semiconductor devices and products.
