Tom Birdsey, AIA, NCARB, LEEDTM is President and Chief Executive Officer of Einhorn Yaffee Prescott, Architecture & Engineering, P.C. (EYP), a design firm with more than 300 architects, engineers, and professionals dedicated to creating sustainable buildings. For the past 27 years, he has played an integral role in the growth and success of the firm.
Most recently, Birdsey has focused his efforts on expanding EYP's 30-year history of providing sustainable energy and energy efficiency services. To that end, he has formed EYP/Energy, an integrated unit within the firm that delivers comprehensive energy solutions in addition to traditional architectural design and engineering services. This all-encompassing strategy of integrating energy planning and optimization methods into traditional design helps clients minimize their energy needs, ultimately controlling costs and reducing environmental impact.
