Adam Tkaczuk manages the Clean Tech cluster for Empire State Development, New York's lead economic development agency. Charged with attracting private investment that creates employment opportunities in the State, Mr. Tkaczuk has advanced a number of firsts for New York: he led the agency's efforts to attract New York's first solar cell manufacturer, Intel Corporation's spin-off SpectraWatt, and worked to establish the State's first solar-grade silicon producer, SolSil, in Niagara Falls. He also spearheaded the country's first known government incentive offering silicon to solar companies that locate in New York.

Mr. Tkaczuk earned his MBA from Rensselaer's Lally School and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Physics from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst.
