Sean Petersen was a member of the original team that led SwapsWire Ltd., a start-up funded by the 22 leading commercial and investment banks that is now the leading post-execution platform worldwide, capturing more than forty percent of the derivative market today. Previously, Sean Petersen launched Blackbird, Inc. the world's first electronic derivative trading platform. Sean spent several years at Merrill Lynch where he structured, priced and marketed financings to clients in the Americas. Sean received his MBA from The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania where he was a Joseph Wharton Fellow. He completed his B.S. degree in Chemical Engineering at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
