Annachiara Danieli is an active member of Golden Seeds, an angel investors group that invests in early stage, high growth women-led companies. Sporadically she writes on US high tech and innovation topics for an Italian audience.
Previously Annachiara has spent most of her career in the engineering and manufacturing field focusing on innovative products and processes. Her major experience has been with DANECO, Spa., an international environmental engineering and equipment supply company she owned and ran for over 10 years until she sold it in 1997 to Asea Brown Boveri and Tecnimont/Montedison.
In 2004/2005, as director of the Udine Tech Park, Annachiara successfully supervised its take off: the result being the concrete collaboration between business and academic research deemed crucial for a new economic growth of Friuli, the northeastern region of Italy. In between these two major experiences, Annachiara moved permanently to New York from Udine, her home town, graduated at NYU School of Journalism in Science and Environmental Reporting and enjoyed free-lance writing.
