Overview New Energy New York and the College of Nanoscale Science and Engineering hosted the Third Annual New Energy Symposium July 9-10, 2008, attracting over 375 prominent players in the energy field from the academia, government, and industry sectors. The event featured a Solar Expo and was held at the world-class Albany NanoTech complex in Albany, NY. Co-chairs for the event were Vincent A. Delorio, Chairman of the Board of Directors for NYSERDA; and Tom Birdsey, President & CEO of Einhorn Yaffee Prescott Architecture & Engineering.
The New Energy Symposium offered a unique chance to share industry trends, threats, and opportunities as they relate to emerging energy technologies.
