Patrick Davis is the Acting Program Manager of the Office of Hydrogen, Fuel Cells and Infrastructure Technologies.  Previously he served as Manager of Hydrogen Safety, Codes and Standards (2004-2007), as acting Team Leader for Hydrogen Production for the Hydrogen Program (2005-2007) and Team Leader for Fuel Cell Technology (2002-2004).  He is the co-chair of the FreedomCAR and Fuel Partnership Technical Team for Hydrogen Codes and Standards and is active in both the International Energy Agency's Hydrogen Implementing Agreement, as well as the International Partnership for a Hydrogen Economy (IPHE).

Mr. Davis has an extensive background in hydrogen, fuel cells, battery, and automotive technologies.  In addition to serving in various leadership positions within the Hydrogen Program, he has also managed subprograms and projects in electric vehicle battery and ultracapacitor R&D, advanced propulsion materials, and compression ignition, direct injection engine technology.

Mr. Davis is a Chemical Engineer with over 25 years of experience in the development of hydrogen, electrochemical and automotive technologies.
