Greg Moreland is a senior-level executive with 30 years of experience in government and industry relations, financial management, and mergers and acquisitions with Ford Motor Company and MTI MicroFuel Cells. Greg's core belief is that "Business" is the ongoing evolution of external relations. Accordingly, his career features effective leadership in developing and implementing strategic program and profit improvement initiatives and in establishing strong external relationships at the federal, state and local political levels. He serves or has served on the Boards of the New York State Workforce Investment Board, New Energy New York (2007 Chairman), the U.S. Fuel Cell Council, the Environmental Business Association of New York State, and New Yorkers for Civil Justice Reform. His government relations experience is highlighted by his leadership in many successful efforts to promote innovative public policy solutions to a diverse assortment of issues, including primarily air quality, energy, trade, economic development, and workforce education. He took an early retirement from Ford at the end of 2004 because he did not want to leave New York after Ford closed its Albany office. He attended undergraduate and graduate schools at The Ohio State University, where he was on the varsity baseball team and was a graduate assistant. He resides in Latham, New York, with his wife, Patricia, and three children.
