Eric L. Lane is an intellectual property lawyer and registered U.S. patent attorney at McKenna Long & Aldridge LLP in San Diego, California, where he is Of Counsel in the firm’s Intellectual Property Group and Climate, Energy and Sustainability Practice and leads the firm’s Green IP Initiative. He counsels companies and entrepreneurs in patent, trademark and copyright matters, assisting them in protecting the intellectual property assets critical to their businesses. He specializes in helping technology companies build, grow and managing their patent and trademark portfolios, with a particular emphasis on renewable energy and other areas of clean technology.
