The
Third Annual Superconductivity Summit will be held May 6-7, 2013 at the
College of Nanoscale Science and Engineering’s (CNSE) Albany Nanotech
Complex in Albany, NY. The central location and world-class facilities
will highlight New York State’s robust superconductivity industry, and
specifically highlight the cradle of high tech here in the Capital
Region.
The Superconductivity Summit will:
- Provide an opportunity for organizations to showcase their technologies, vision and needs
- Encourage the pursuit of superconductivity and related energy efficient technologies
- Spawn high tech jobs based on the innovative R&D programs in New York State and surrounding areas
- Engage motivated students, including needed graduate students and engineers for this field
- Provide access to the leading technologists and businesses involved in superconductivity
- Foster the exchange of the latest innovative ideas in the field
- Present a realistic view of the status and potential of superconductivity and its offshoots
