Pre-year 1 (June-Aug)
Students accepted to the Program may spend ~8 weeks at CNSE participating in research, rotating through labs, and identifying potential projects and mentors
Year 1 (Aug-May)
Location: Medical Center
M1 core curriculum
Summer (June-Aug)
Location: CNSE
Orientation, ~ 8 week selection process for PhD mentorship, identification of research projects and mentors, optional coursework, and special programs
USMLE Step 1
Year 2 (Aug-May)
Location: Medical Center
M2 core curriculum
USMLE Step 1
Years 3-5 (June - completion of Ph.D.)
Location: CNSE
PhD (46 total credits, 24 of which transfer from medical school core curriculum)
CNSE coursework as advised
Original research, qualifiers, and thesis project defense
Year 6-7 (Completion of M.D. - graduation in May)
