ALBANY, N.Y. -- Steve Janack, CNSE Vice President for Marketing and Communications, says, "The message is, there is opportunity for everyone in New York in the Nanotechnology industry." Janack says, "We're looking to fill 300 positions at CNSE, opportunities that we have today, and opportunities that we'll have in the future."

More than 800 hopeful job seekers showed up at a job fair at the College of Nanoscale Science and Engineering.

Michelle Boyle says, "I came here looking for a long term employment opportunity."

Cathy Yudzevich says, "I'm looking to reinvent my career, and an opportunity to be in technology, and what better place to be."

The job fair comes during a time officials are calling a nano-boom. Along with the job openings at the college, Global Foundries in Malta confirmed they are in the initial stages of expanding, both opening doors for people of all different skill levels.
