The Business Review: Solar consortium selects three executives to lead development of CIGS technology

The U.S. Photovoltaic Manufacturing Consortium has selected three industry executives to develop a roadmap for the development of CIGS, a specific type of photovoltaic panels.

The consortium is headquartered at the College of Nanoscale Science and Engineering at the University at Albany. The nanocollege and Sematech, the Albany-based consortium of semiconductor companies, are leading the project.
