The Business Review: NanoCollege's 2012 summer internship program begins
The Business Review
The College of Nanoscale Science and Engineering at the University at Albany began its summer internship program Monday with 38 undergraduate students, including 30 from New York State.
The program runs for 10 weeks ending Aug. 10.
Last year, the program accepted 25 students, including 17 from New York state.
The 2012 students, who were chosen from a pool of nearly 200 applicants, will be immersed in nanotechnology education and hands-on experiences. Each student will be mentored by a CNSE faculty member or researcher from one of CNSE’s global corporate partners, including IBM , Intel, GlobalFoundries, Sematech and Samsung.
